As our CFO would say, “Let’s not make it complicated. We deliver freight. ” 

He’s right, you know? However, simply delivering freight is the easy part. Delivering freight with excellence requires a lot more effort.  That is where we believe we provide the most value to our customers. We innovate, adapt and execute daily – working together, from customer service to dispatch & the drivers, as a well-oiled machine, all to make it happen.

For our customers, we fight the good fight, daily – pushing through all the inevitable roadblocks and issues that occur in our complex industry, working around, and, solving problems to get things done, and, make sure the customer is not only happy, but ecstatic.

And we wouldn’t have it any other way.  

So, you ask, how do we deliver excellence? We do it with an executive team that doesn’t just talk about it, but lives and breathes it daily. We do it with constant communication, continuous improvement, and rigorous training.

A management team, customer service staff, dispatchers, and, qualified, well trained, TSA certified drivers, with 100’s of years of logistics and customer service experience between them, whom all share that same passion. Then, we add in the support, equipment and technology to back them up.

So, in summary, when we say: “we deliver” we’re not just talking about packages.

We deliver excellence.

OUR STORY

AS TOLD BY OUR FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

In January of 1998, Charles Chisholm & Robert Hunt started Accurate Expediting. They started with just one 1998 Chevrolet cube truck and a dream. That dream? To build Accurate into a thriving business. The idea was simple – we wanted to offer the best customer service at a fair price. Accurate started with only one customer, doing a small part of their business, eventually expanding into four trucks and doing all our first customers work over the next three years.

In 2001 we purchased an existing competitor and further expanded our business. We rented our first building. This was a huge undertaking that we could not have accomplished without our dedicated and loyal staff.

During this period, we gained a new customer called ‘Freight Force’. We started doing small amounts of weekly business with them, to start, and, at that time, we had no idea that our destinies would intertwine so intimately – but we’re certainly glad that they did!

 

Over time, Freight Force eventually became the backbone of our business. As we started to grow, it became clear that Freight Force would help to lead Accurate into the future.

In October of 2018, we began yet another new venture, into becoming a customs freight station for St. George. This was another big undertaking, however, it proved to be an excellent investment for Accurate, and, for our customers. The demand soon became even more clear, as this portion of our business tripled in size over the next three years period, thus helping to pay off our investment in our customers. Since then, investment in our customers has become a cornerstone of our business methodology. If we cannot provide something specific for a long-term partner, we are always open and willing to discuss options and possibilities. 

It should go without saying, but as a family owned and operated company all these years – it’s important to note that all of this could not have been accomplished without the hard work, and, dedication of our amazing staff, customers and contractors. We give all the credit to the employees, whom we consider to be ‘family’.
